I was honored to have my book, Praying for Your Missionary, as a featured resource by the Center for Advancing Healthcare Missions during their most recent podcast concerning advancing healthcare missions around the world. Because of Covid, missions and especially healthcare missions work are facing challenges like never before. Thus, they need our prayers like never before. Please pray for me as I finalize prep for my talk at Urbana Missions Conference happening Dec 27-31. Thank you! There's still time to register if you'd like to attend one of the most influential missions conferences of our generation. Praying for Blessings in August

Ramadan is the time of fasting for the Muslim world during the 9th month of their lunar calendar year. This year, it will be from August 1-30. The name Ramadan stems from words that mean intense heat and dryness, because during this season they seek to burn away their sins through fasting and giving up pleasures. Their fast is from sunrise to sunset with the last 10 days considered the most blessed.

For the past two decades, Christians around the world have joined in on this fast in order to pray for the ultimate blessing of salvation to come upon the Muslim world. There have been testimonies of Muslims seeing Jesus in visions and giving their lives over to Christ during this season as well. Please join us in prayer and fasting as we seek to bring true freedom to the nations.
