Save My Seoul (2017)
Save My Seoul was a film project that God placed on my heart to make back in 2011 as a result of seeing the widespread issue of sex trafficking happening in South Korea, yet was too often ignored. As I did a screening tour in Korea for the film Nefarious, I was shocked at how often Koreans would tell me that they didn't think trafficking was a problem in Korea or that they saw these women as people who chose this "profession", wanted to do it, and made a lot of money doing it. As a result, most of the public never saw them as a victims. I wanted to reveal the truth behind the sex industry in Korea and shatter the lies that people believed. After a few years of prayer, interviews, and preparation, God allowed us to partner with Jubilee Project who helped us complete this first film project. My prayer is that God would use this film to raise awareness and bring change in cultural mindset of Korea so that slavery would be no more in that nation.
We have recently begun production of the next installment of this series called Save My Seoul: A Second Darkness, which will look at the issue of foreign women who are trafficking into South Korea. And Lord willing, the third film in this trilogy, Please Come Home, will look at Korean women who have been trafficked abroad. Please pray for an anointing upon these films and for God to use them to bring an end to slavery in our lifetime. If you'd like to receive updates in order to pray for our next film, click here. 2018 screening tour dates and cities are also listed below.
You can purchase Save My Seoul through iTunes, Amazon, and YouTube.
DVD's will be available soon.
